Best gift I ever got was a blown up digital collage print that my husband designed and gave to me for my 30th birthday. It's now hanging prominently in our dining room and I love it!
The best gift I ever got was time spent cooking my first turkey for my future husband. She passed on the next. Every time I since I have used her old roasting pan and have those found memories in my heart.
I missed saying I cooked the Turkey with my Mom.
My best gift ever was our dog, Oscar. He's quickly become a huge part of our family and he gives great snuggles. :)

Best gift ever? The huge gothic inspired walnut bookshelf that my dad made for me - he cut the tree and custom made it based on a tiny little picture I cut from a french castle brochure.

The best gift I ever received was a child's rocking chair that originally belonged to my Grandfather. It was built in 1921 by my Great-Grandfather. Every time I visited my Grandparents in Montreal I sat and rocked and read and watched the adults talk, and eat, and drink from that chair. The year after my Grandfather passed away my Grandmother gave it to me as a Christmas gift. She knew how much I loved it. I cherish it to this day. It now sits in our future child's room waiting to be rocked and loved.

my heart melted in a million pieces when my girlfriend made me a dayplanner -- leather bound, left-to-right vertical days (my fave, but hard to find!), designed/printed by her, & marked with all of our different anniversaries and special dates -- from the day we met, to when we bought our first house <3

My best gift was a photo my husband took of our 2 dogs on the dock at sunrise...he had it printed on a large canvas. Every time I need to de-stress I look at that print and it calms me down.

I have to say that my rain boots with warm liners were a fabulous, practical gift and have been used for many a season! Love them.
I must say that the best gift was the ultrasound we had a week before Christmas that showed us we were having twins. What a Christmas surprise!

The best gift I ever got was last night, when my six year old Coco snuggled with me to watch the christmas tree lights twinkle, then she hugged me and said, "you feel like home to me." I keep trying to teach them how important family is, but maybe I should be letting them teach me :)
The best gift I ever received was when my grandparents made me a huge dollhouse from scratch when I was a little kid! It was gorgeous and I would spend hours playing with it.
