Office Update

A while back, writer Christine Cox was doing a story on home offices and through the power of Twitter, she found me. I just remembered I never shared the article with you; you can read it here (our story starts on page 36). Edited to add: the lovely office of fellow blogger Kate at Centsational Girl is also featured on page 30!

Here's some recent photos I took for the article. If you're wondering - no, the office never ever stays this clean!

here. Found via MakingItLovely)

I absolutely adore the paint colour! Can you let me know what it is? I've been searching for a shade of green that isn't too over the top and this one fits the bill. Thanks!

I also love the paint color. It looks very similar to the color I used for my last project in our Engligh Tudor.

I loved seeing your office too! Funny, because I'm about to replace the sofa with much more practical file cabinets . . I'm inspired by your IKEA hack styling!

Lovin' the Airplane!

Oh, and aren't those Old Wooden Chairs great? Even without a cushion pad, they still fit a person's tush just perfectly! I've got an old oak one myself - a $15. yard sale find years ago... They just don't make them like that anymore...

Sarah - the paint is Benjamin Moore's Brookside Moss

Kate - that's always the battle, isn't it? Function vs style. I love your office too. Its such a pretty space to work in.

Auntie Shan - I do like the chair (though this one is a newer reproduction). Its definitely an improvement on the teal office chair we had in there before!

If our home office looked half as spiffy as yours, we'd be the most productive people on the planet.
