On that note... Do all of the beautiful laundry rooms you see in blog land have custom cut counters? How can you get this look without forking out for quartz or granite? Ready made counters seem to shallow.

btw - the counter top is NOT custom cut, it's one of the cheapest ones you can get on ikea :) We bought two and glued them together :)
i worked at pottery barn kids and those coloring books were removed from the stores because some of the pictures are REALLY inappropriate. If you look through them you'll know what I am talking about.
I think my favorites are that pretty bedroom and the amazing laundry space!

Anon 2:18pm - thanks for the warning. I looked through the books and though some were questionable, I think the "Draw a dead person" page is the only one I'll tear out. Though I wonder if I find it offensive only because I don't have the same cultural reference as the Japanese illustrator of the book?
